Turn right at the roundabout immediately after the (free) Skye Bridge for Broadford. After 6 miles turn left on to the A851 for Isle Ornsay.
Follow the A851 south for 7 miles and turn left for Isle Ornsay, then, after 1/4 mile turn right at the telephone box for Camuscross.
After 1/2 mile take the left fork and follow the road along the shore to the end of the public road then continue along the un-surfaced road and over the small bridge - there are four houses after the bridge and we are the first house. If you get to Barabhaig Cottage you have gone about 100 yards past us!
On arrival at Armadale follow the A851 north for about 8 miles then turn right for Isle Ornsay and continue as above.
If you are planning to travel via the ferry we suggest you book a place in advance and also make sure that the ferry is running when you get to fort William as it is 50 miles from there to Mallaig and if you arrive and find that the ferry is not running or is full you have no option but to drive the 50 miles back before heading for Skye via the bridge
Visit the amazing shop and café at An Crùbh - the new community facility for Sleat http://ancrubh.com and www.facebook.com/ancrubh/
An Crùbh is a fantastic place to meet, enjoy good food, great coffee and offers a warm welcome to locals, families and visitors alike. The café has spectacular views of the mountains of the mainland and the shop sells a good range of grocery items (from baked beans to roasted garlic balsamic vinegar!) as well as local art and craft.
